Nursery in Progress

We finally came up with colors for the nursery. We wanted to not have to paint it again when and if we ever a boy in the future. So we picked a sagey-green for the bottom and then a crispy wheat color for the top. We are going to put a "chair-rail"-a piece of wood frame-right where the 2 colors meet. Who knows when we will be able to get that done.
You can see in this picture that the top color looks like a light tan with the natural light..


But with the flash on and the house lighting, it looks more yellowish..which is kinda what we were going for. So we really like it.


And...this past saturday Ben gave in and let me get my "favoritist travel system ever". I have been REALLY liking the plaid lately and when I saw this stroller at Target about 2 months ago, I wanted it so bad. I of course searched around EVERYWHERE and looked to see if there were any others I liked and if they were plaid, were they cheaper? Well, this one at Target was the cheapest plaid one we found and WE LOVE IT!



And here is the bedding for the crib which Ben found. He sent it to me over instant messaging on gmail so I could look at it, and come to find out, he was so happy because I really liked it! So it makes me feel good that he likes it too. I think the main reason he liked it was because it's a 13 piece set for only $99. Everything you see in the picture, pretty much comes with. So he also gave in and let me order it just yesterday. So i'm hoping it will get here soon!


Getting all this "shopping" done makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something! Yet we don't have any money to spend on it, so that's why i'll be waiting for the baby shower gifts from now on. lol I think I'll be satisfied enough for a little while..However, this whole waiting game is definitely NOT helping with me trying to learn patience. I have anxiety so bad right now and I just want this baby to come now!! But I know it will all be worth it in the end. And sleep is definitely a priority these last 129 days I have left. =)
